The compartment is a housing which is fitted mechanically to the busbar system. Electrical connection to divices is also possible. A phaseseparated structure is easily possible by connecting each compartment only to one phase.

Cylindrical fuse-links utilization category gPV up to DC1500V

JEAN MÜLLER expands its range of cylindrical fuse-links utilization category gPV for photovoltaic applications with system voltages up to 1500V.

The extended size 10x85 allows for higher rated voltages up to DC1500V. In addition to standard cylindrical contact caps the fuse-links are optionally available with screw contacts (Hole centres 97mm, for screws M4).

PV cylindrical fuse-links are applied in junction boxes for protection of single PV strings and are especially optimized for the protection of photovoltaic systems. The international standard IEC 60269-6 therefore defines the requirements in a new utilization category gPV, which the JEAN MÜLLER PV fuses comply with.
